We are excited to announce the following individuals will be traveling to Costa Rica on April 4-11, 2009:
Elizabeth Byrum, DC Clark, Tyler Gibbs, Laura Henshaw, Jelani Mitchell, John Nagel, Casey Peterson, Marissa Rye, Thomas Beckton, Drew Tyrell, Lauren Waters, Sydney Maxwell, Dana Blohm, Daniel Hamalainen, Gabby Spencer-Paul, Steve Young, Jen Baldinelli, and Nick Errato.
Here are some other prayer requests we would love for you to lift up during our time there:
1) Safety-Please pray for our safety as we not only travel out of the country, but through manhy different areas of Costa Rica
2) The People of Costa Rica-that their lives will be changed and impacted!
3) Energy and good health-that we can work enthusiastically for the LORD!
4) Families-for our families back in the US, that they will be protected and safe while we are gone.
As of now, here is our tentavive schedule:
Saturday, April 4th -Arrive in Costa Rica, work with inner city childeren at camp Sunday, April 5th - continue to work with inner city children Monday, April 6th - complete work projects at the camp Tuesday, April 7th - go into San Jose to work at the only YMCA in the country (working with children as well as doing work projects) Wednesday, April 8th - Boys Orphanage Thursday, April 9th-eco-tourism (volcano, waterfalls, zip line through the rain forest, hot springs) Friday, April 10th -eco-tourism (volcano, waterfalls, zip line through the rain forest, hot springs) Saturday, April 11th - come home
